Torbay's artists and venues participate in Devon Open Studios
Artists from across Brixham, Paignton, and Torquay are inviting audiences to visit them where they create their work in the annual Devon Open Studios during 10 – 25 September.
Devon Open Studios is an opportunity to support local independent artists, and gives residents, and visitors to Torbay, the chance to meet some of the creative people who are inspired by - and make work from their homes on - the English Riviera.
This year dozens of artists in 18 venues across Torbay are participating in Devon Open Studios. There are workshops to get involved in, including fused glass, drawing, printmaking, and more.
Artizan Gallery supports the event each year through the Torbay Grants programme, a funding stream that provides bursaries to 10 Torbay artists to enable them to take part in the event, including one full fee bursary and studio hosting, which this year will see artist Ash Raddon working from their basement studio at Artizan Gallery, Lucius Street.
