Call for expressions of interest in joining our Board
This is an invitation for volunteers to express interest in joining the independent advisory Board of Torbay Culture
We are keen to hear from individuals who have a range of skills, knowledge and expertise in the areas of:
Diversity and inclusive practice
Environment and sustainable development
Fundraising and income generation
Responsible tourism and the visitor economy
We want to encourage a range of applicants, and are committed to providing equality of opportunity. If you are interested, you can arrange to have a confidential conversation with Jacob Brandon (Chair) or Matthew Harbour (Deputy Chair).
The Board usually meets on a quarterly basis; working groups may be set up for further meetings to discuss specific items. The time commitment is likely to be up to two days per month. While this role is not remunerated, expenses may be claimed where relevant.

Members of the Board are included as individuals and not as a representative of an organisation.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview in late October / early November to meet members of the Board and Executive Director. (This may be conducted via zoom if necessary).
